The actual is a rich, dark walnut brown with rosy-amber colored glass inserts. Despite the color not being quite right, I kept them because they are beautiful. I bought the silver as well (I REALLY love those, despite the faintest of champagne coloring to the side paint), and mixed them in a silver bowl on the corner of a coffee table. I like the result. I had to fill in the color around the edges in the center of the ornaments with a dark brown color pencil. They need to have someone double check the quality of the product before sending out. They all had the same issues. The wood was dull and unpolished (not shiny like in the pictures). The glass mosaic part is nothing like the pictures. It's just foggy glass bound together by a dirty gray substance. The surface of the mosaic is not smooth and feels rough to the touch.
